Samsung has officially launched the One UI 8 beta testing program for Galaxy phones, which is based on the Android 16 platform. It is now open for Galaxy S25, S25 Plus & S25 Ultra smartphones in select countries. It brings more Galaxy AI features to the Samsung devices, along with other key features and UI changes. Furthermore, the company has stated that it aims to enhance the user experience with the software and Galaxy AI functions. It will enrich the productivity and simplify everyday routines.
In the One UI 8 beta version, you will see more personalized settings in the Now Bar & Now Brief functions. It will give you more customized suggestions and curated AI information for your daily tasks. The new version claims to provide AI-powered robust security to safeguard your personal data. In a stock app, it has revamped the look of Weather, Calendar, Calculator, One UI Home, and Quick Share apps. The new version introduces the Auracast function to let you broadcast audio with multiple hearing devices using Bluetooth LE audio technology.

Quick Share also becomes faster in sharing larger files with your friends and family. Also, by using QR codes and NFC technology, users can now inform Samsung customer service about their damaged product. Users don’t need to submit the registration form, and don’t need to waste their time in the service center.
The One UI 8 beta testing program is now open in the US, UK, South Korea, and Germany. As usual, India and Poland will receive the first beta version in the coming days. The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7 devices will first use stable One UI 8 software, and later, it will come to the Galaxy S25 series and other devices.
